Repaired and welded grab at a recycling yard.
This hiab lorry needed some attention! The chrome was corroded and had ruined the seals so I removed the rams, repaired and re fitted to the hiab.
This customer contacted me due to lots of dust polluting the the environment around the reject shoot so I built an enclosure around the shoot and included water suppression to reduce the dust.
Installed a hoover ducting system at a wood recycling plant to stop plastic contaminating the wood. I also fabricated brackets to hold the ducting in place.
This wood processing plant at a Power Station had a problem due to the loading shovel not fitting the machine correctly, I adapted the hydraulic ram eye on the loading shovel to ensure a seamless operation!
This required me to cut off, clean up and weld a new bracket to the axle refit chamber.
Snapped bearing housings on a shredder conveyor for this customer, I removed the chain and sprockets, replaced the bearing and re fit sprockets with a new chain - good as new!
